Exercise in a Confined Space

Keeping fit during your isolation.

While you are experiencing all this social isolation ... sorry, social distancing ... you are going to find out that exercise is a very important part of your ‘not going out of my mind, stir crazy, doolally or any other term that describes the effects of starring at the same 4 walls for months,’ regime.

And that goes for everyone. Yes even you!

You know who you are. The one who is proud to shirk even the most trivial exercise. Who regards running for the bus as an endurance sport. Who breaks into a sweat at the thought of extra time in your one annual piece of competitive activity, the Christmas Day scrabble match with auntie Ingrid from East Grinstead.

Exercise will keep you physically healthy, mentally healthy and will save you having to buy a new oversized wardrobe once this is all over and you’ve had to overdoes on pasta just to make it look like you weren’t one of those hoarding more than you needed right at the beginning.

Many of you will have restricted space, but don’t think you will get away with it that easily. Even in the smallest space you can still find enough to keep fit.

We are going to place links to exercising classes as they appear on the web so your excuses will amount to nothing.
