Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust
Young Roots

The Nottinghamshire wildlife Trust is the largest conservation organisation in the county. It has 67 nature reserves across the county and they are all managed for the benefit of wildlife and where practical, they encourage sensitive use by the community.

The Trust has recently set up a Young Roots project which aims to involve and engage young people in the work of the Trust.

The Young Roots project is open to young people 13 – 25 years old and offers the opportunity to learn new skills, get involved in the management of sites and to become an active member influencing the direction of the Trust and helping to give it a young voice.

If you are interested in getting involved then contact the Young Roots team by phone: 0115 958 8242
