The Green Hustle 2024
a celebration of green activity in Nottingham

greenhustle24 The Green Hustle was a celebration of green activity in Nottingham bringing together projects looking to make Nottingham a greener and more enjoyable city.

Loads of organisations came together in Nottingham's Old Market Square earlier this summer, and Hothouse Theatre's youth group turned up to find out what it was all about.

Check out what they found out.

Crafting Reconnection

By spending time noticing nature and appreciating the beauty that the natural world has to offer, we can feel closer and more connected. When we feel close to nature, it improves our wellbeing and makes us happier, but also makes us more likely to care about nature and take steps to protect the natural world from threats like climate change and biodiversity loss.

UNLOCKING THE TRUE VALUE OF SUSTAINABILITY FOR EVERYONE

Climate change is already having a deeply destructive impact on people and our planet. Its ultimate consequences could be far more devastating. We urgently need to change the way we live to protect the environment and our communities.

However recognising how interrelated considerations for people, planet and prosperity are, as well as the sheer financial scale of the change required makes this a daunting challenge. No one person or company can solve this alone, it requires a global collaboration and a shared language.
