Keeping It Wild
Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust
We’re a youth led volunteer group based in Nottingham City Centre, meeting up at least once a week to plan, organize and carry out nature-based conservation.
Fun, free and Friendly! We are Keeping it Wild, a group of like-minded 13 – 25 year old’s who are passionate about nature, conservation and adventure! We are campaigners, activists, conservationists.

Arkwright Meadows
Community Gardens
Established in 2001 Arkwright Meadows Community Garden is a thriving community project. The Gardens are a green oasis within walking distance of Nottingham City Centre. We are open to visitors throughout the week providing a place for relaxation and recreation.

Bulwell Forest Garden
We provide a wide range of gardening activities centred around communal food growing, the creation of habitats for wildlife, and environmental play for families. We host regular family activity days, short courses on growing your own produce, in addition to offering opportunities for volunteering.

As an independent community-based initiative, Nottingham Climate Assembly believes in working collaboratively to involve local residents across Nottinghamshire in activities responding to the climate emergency.

Switch Up
Switch Up exists to empower Nottingham’s young people, children and young adults to break the cycle of offending and reoffending.
Switch Up uses tried and tested mentoring techniques along with physical training to engage Nottingham’s young people in positive activity and to steer them away from the circle of crime and gang-criminality.
